Bombay College of Pharmacy organized a memorable two-day residential course on Universal Human Values at the serene campus of Jeevanvidya Dnyanpeeth, Karjat. We reached the venue on the morning of 21st December and were warmly welcomed with a homely breakfast that set a positive tone for the program.

The first session, “Divine Human Body,” by Dr. Shilpa Lal helped us understand our body beyond the physical form. This was followed by “Mind is Supreme,” where we explored how thoughts gradually turn into habits and shape our personality. The post-lunch poster-making activity encouraged teamwork and creativity while helping us express what we had learned.

Later sessions such as “Understanding Harmony in Nature” by Mr. Manish Shinde and “Thoughts That Shape Our Future” by Mrs. Snehal Salvi were highly engaging and thought-provoking. The movie analogy used during the session made us realize that we are the directors of our own lives.

The second day began with a peaceful meditation session that helped us reflect inwardly. The “Key to Success” session inspired us to think deeply about our goals and life purpose. The reflection session that followed was emotional and insightful, as students shared personal experiences and learnings.

The course concluded with lunch and checkout, but the values and perspectives gained during these two days will continue to guide us in our academic and personal lives.
